Each card has been graded by PSA. Offered is a 7-card collection of N127 Duke "Sea Captains" non-sports cards issued in 1888. During the Victorian Era, the imagination was the greatest portal to excitement, travel and adventure. There were no instant newscasts, internet video or an endless supply of communication to overload the mind with the harsh reality of the real world. Simple elements, like the sea, and the men who sailed their mighty ships fostered the creation of this production. The end result is one of the most stunning of the large-sized tobacco card issues. Each card enchanted the viewer with a beautifully lithographed portrait (by Geo. Harris & Sons) of the top world renown ship captains flanked by their respective vessel's name, sponsor and colors (flag), all complemented by a finely detailed nautical backdrop. Includes: Graded
