Presented is a handwritten and letter from Theodore Roosevelt dated April 19, 1900 in black ink on off-white stationery with blue printed “State of New York Executive Chamber Albany” letterhead. Roosevelt has signed, “Sincerely yours Theodore Roosevelt” at the bottom of the 5 x 8 inch page. The 26th President of the United States (September 14, 1901 – March 4, 1909), Roosevelt was the 33rd Governor of New York from January 1, 1899 to December 31, 1900, and Vice President of the United States from March 4, 1901 to September 14, 1901, when he succeeded the assassinated President William McKinley.
