This fascinating lot consists of more than 3,200 cards comprising 105 different complete sets. The cards were issued as promotional items to accompany cigarettes, tea, periodicals and foods, and a couple were produced as special "collector issues." Many of the sets are wrapped, just as they left the factory and, with a small number of exceptions, overall condition is presumably EX to NM or finer throughout (a few top or bottom cards, in particular, may exhibit wear).
