This captivating paper antique depicts the key individual combatant in the Chicago Cubs/Detroit Tigers World Series rivalries of 1907-08. Produced by A.C. Dietsche of Detroit, the stylish 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" postcard carries a breathtakingly well-detailed image of Cobb. The piece exhibits creasing and peripheral wear but retains pleasing display quality. The reverse is boldly printed and unused. Fair condition.
