Showcasing a classic pose of a legendary star, the 3-1/2" x 5-1/2", black-and-white depiction is from the series sponsored by a knife company – Novelty Cutlery Co. – that was headquartered in Canton, Ohio. The ornately designed postcard displays an image that is strikingly crisp and fresh. The obverse presentation of Wagner's likeness is super-vivid, and the item's faults are largely consistent with postal use. This is one of the most desirable postcards in the hobby, boasting a very respectable, exciting appearance.
