Further, the "Throwing" pose of Waddell has always been considered one of the most artistically pleasing cards in the set. In its design, the pitcher is shown in a grey uniform that contrasts gracefully with the pastel-toned blue and purple sky and the green infield grass in the background. These wonderful colors are framed on this specimen by blazing white borders, and all of its corners exhibit fundamentally perfect points. The card's "Sweet Caporal" reverse-side advertisement is brilliantly printed, as expected. Anyone seeking an outstanding Rube Waddell upgrade for a T206 collection, or, perhaps, hoping to obtain a single White Border piece to properly represent its issue, will find full satisfaction in this splendid relic.
