The colorful and almost never-seen D322 regional issue of 1910 commemorates the athletes of the 1909 World Championship Pittsburgh Pirates. The cards' backs advise readers to "Save 50 labels from TIP-TOP BREAD and secure this entire series (25 cards) free." This gentle urging was clearly ignored by virtually all of the Ward-Mackey Company's Tip-Top clientele, leaving these extremely scarce collectibles in perennially short supply among advanced collectors.
