With National Hockey League credentials that include executive, general manager, head coach and innovator, Art Ross (1886-1964) was also a star defenseman in the NHL's predecessor, the National Hockey Association. From 1924 to 1954, he served as either coach or general manager of the Boston Bruins. This vintage card – boasting bright colors and extremely mild evidence of past circulation – stands as one of the hobby's most appealing commemoratives of an important, pioneering figure.
