Graded 30 GD 2 by SGC. Hall of Famer. This is one of just two examples at its tier (three graded higher) among a total of sixteen copies recorded in SGC's census reporting. Good condition.
In 1911, the advertising efforts of General Baking Co. yielded several identical 25-card productions. Five different G.B.C. brands were involved in this insert card promotion; among this group, the offered example was issued with a loaf of Brunners Bread. Due to the very limited geography of their distribution, these Brunners Bread cards are intensely scarce (as are the cards from any of the other four sponsors). This highly appealing specimen, with its very bright illustration, stands as an ideal representative of its type.
