Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of just two examples at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of forty-four copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. The offered collectible, one of only two variations known within the 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders set, is considered to be among the series' most difficult cards to locate. Third baseman Art Devlin, who is featured with the great Christy Mathewson on this item, was traded from the New York Giants to the Boston Braves (the "Rustlers") after the end of the 1911 campaign. Initially, Hassan portrayed Devlin as a member of the Giants, but later updated its cards to reflect the off-season trade. The example here presented is an extraordinary representative, featuring strong colors and sharp presentation quality throughout. Elite Near Mint to Mint condition.
