Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, one of fewer than two dozen copies validated by that company across all levels. "Broadleaf" reverse, "Factory No. 25 - 2nd Dist. Va." Like its white-bordered, T206 cousin, T207 is known for its cohort of rarities, and the Brown Background release has a "Big Three" in its own right. The presence of the Boston Braves' Irving Lewis on nearly every advanced T207 wantlist has long been a given, and, to make matters worse, the Lewis card has a variation: the portrayal shows Lewis with – as is presented here – or without a Braves logo on his left sleeve. (Lewis' inclusion in the T207 production is somewhat of a mystery, at any rate, as he never appeared in a single major league ballgame.) The offered "Emblem On Sleeve" item has some corner wear, as expected, but exhibits a clear illustration. Light scuffing of cardstock is observable primarily on the "Broadleaf"-branded reverse. Any aspiring T207 collection would be greatly enhanced by the addition of this extremely rare card. Very Good to Excellent condition.
