Encapsulated and assessed "Authentic" by SGC. Hall of Famer. This is a very scarce, large-sized tobacco card, and one of just four baseball subjects in its series. An uncommonly vivid illustration, in tandem with a boldly printed reverse, distinguishes this elusive card that depicts the "Champion Batsman, 1911." The collectible has a number of creases (most significantly at the top left and in the bottom-edge margin) but nevertheless presents favorably on the strength of its marvelous image. A much-coveted tobacco insert rarity.
