The complete set of 250 cards is presented. Released during a period of American history during which activities in The Great War were current events, these fragile inserts reveal a tremendous array of timely World War I images. The cards conveyed in-color depictions of important personages and battle scenes, as well as a variety of pictures showing individual efforts in the conflict. Explanatory text appears on each card's back. The items are printed on thin stock (making them very susceptible to wear), and complete sets are difficult to assemble. Overall condition is about GD/VG to VG/EX with some nicer and some lesser (a few cards are trimmed).
