Presented here is a ticket to Game 4 of the 1915 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies at Braves Field in Boston. The Red Sox, leading the Fall Classic two games to one heading into Game 4, took an early lead via Harry Hooper’s third inning RBI single. The Sox added a second run in the sixth inning as Ernie Shore tossed a one-run complete game to clinch the Red Sox third consecutive 2-1 win. Duffy Lewis recorded the second RBI for Boston, while Fred Luderus went 3-4 with the Phillies lone RBI of the contest. Boston won Game 5 of the series 5-4, clinching the franchise’s third World Series title. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded an EX-MT 6 by PSA (22824653).
