Encapsulated and assessed "Authentic" by PSA, one of just seven examples validated across all levels by that company; only one specimen has received a numerical grade. Hall of Famer. The physically crude (but colorful and vaguely charming), uncatalogued "Big Head" cartoon-design strip cards depict players with oversized noggins that appear to be out of proportion to their bodies' dimensions. This Ruth example captures and transmits all of its illustration's inherent appeal, with liabilities in preservation largely taking the form of peripheral erosion to the fragile cardstock. An obscure and virtually never-seen keepsake from the great Ruth's early career, projecting fascinating vintage flavor.
