The world's most popular sports, including Golf, Boxing/Wrestling, Olympics, Football, Auto/Aircraft Racing, Tennis, Soccer, Swimming and more, are highlighted in this eclectic group. The collection contains nearly 1,800 different cards comprising 50 complete sets. Many of the cards were issued with products (foods, tea, cigarettes) and others are commemorative issues. Many of the sets are wrapped, just as they left the factory, and others (as noted) are housed in plastic card sheets. Overall condition of the wrapped sets is presumably NM or finer throughout (a few top or bottom cards may exhibit wear); paged sets, which are primarily older issues, are generally EX to EX/MT or better (a few lesser).
