Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of barely two dozen examples recorded in PSA’s census reporting. An exceptional reminder of Ruth's throwing form is presented on this sought-after, Yankees-era memento. Inoffensive degrees of corner wear do not impinge upon the much-admired entry's poignant aesthetic, and its "80 player" reverse-side text is fully legible. A few tiny areas of wrinkling on the card's back are almost invisible, and are mentioned only for the sake of strict accuracy in description. A desirable and visually captivating specimen, in Very Good-plus condition.
