Offered here is a signed copy of Percy Haughton’s book Football, and How To Watch It. Haughton was a highly influential coach during the early days of the 20th century, leading the Harvard Crimson to four national titles. Haughton also coached at Cornell and Columbia in addition to spending a season as the head coach of the Harvard baseball nine. This hardcover book was published in 1922, and Haughton has signed the initial page in black pen. The 1951 inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame inscribed “In appreciation of you contribution / To T.K. Richards” in addition to his signature. Below the inscription, Haughton added the date “Oct. 1922”. This book comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F63938).
