This 1923 W515-1 Babe Ruth graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA provides a very rare opportunity. Not only is this the sole example of this card to be graded a "10" but it is actually one of only four cards of Babe Ruth from his playing days to be graded as such, there are also two Parker Brothers playing cards but they really don't have an image of Ruth (just his name along with a cartoon image of a generic player). Additionally, this is the earliest card of Ruth to receive the lofty grade that it has. The card itself is "dead-centered" with full borders all around. The artistic image of Ruth maintains superb, rich colors with flawless registration and focus. Of note, 1923 marked the opening season for the legendary Yankee Stadium and saw Babe Ruth lead the Yankees to World Series victory over the New York Giants. This is a truly impressive card representing Babe Ruth from an absolutely legendary year for Baseball. Without a doubt this card is GEM MINT!
