Graded VG-EX+ 4.5 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among twenty-nine copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, thirteen examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. The international appeal of old-time baseball was addressed by Willard's Chocolate of Toronto in 1924 with the company's "Sports Champions" issue. Just three baseball players (Cobb, Collins and Ruth) were included, and the offered representative, featuring Detroit's great hitter, summarizes the flair of the seldom-encountered V122 release. The card exhibits minimal signs of circulation, with a very favorable obverse appearance and a couple of tiny paper-residue specks on the blank back. Very Good to Excellent-plus condition.
