He signed thousands of baseballs over his professional baseball lifetime, but not that many on the sweet spot of a blue and red stitched OAL Ban Johnson baseball which quite possibly hav ebben form his historic 60 home run 1927 season. Based upon the stampings of this Ban Johnson baseball, it dates from 1925 -1927 when Ruth was at his peak. The stampings are all bold and while the ball exhibits a few light scratches, the ball was never used for its intended purpose. On the sweet spot is a black fountain pen “Babe” Ruth signature (“5/10”), with some areas of lightness. The ball itself is exceptionally clean and strong. An exceptional opportunity to pick up one of the scarcest Babe Ruth single signed baseballs that cannot be passed upon. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
