What sets this particular ball apart from other single signed Ruth balls is that it is on a Barnard Official American League Baseball, meaning this ball can be dated to the 1926-1933 period - the "sweet spot" of The Babe's storied career! The blue and red stitched ball has taken on that warm hue you like to see on a vintage ball and the Reach Company stamping is nice and crisp. PSA/DNA have examined the ball and graded it a 6 (65010752) and likewise graded the signature a 6 (E53600). A beautiful example of the quintessential sports collectible dating from Babe Ruth's greatest years.
