Graded EX-NM+ 6.5 ("EX-MT+ 6.5" equivalent) by SGC. Hall of Famer. Uncertainty surrounds the exact circumstances through which the 60-card series designated W502 (in the definitive American Card Catalog) was conceived and distributed. Printed copy on the reverse side of the 1-3/8" x 2-1/2", black-and-white collectibles indicates that they were produced as part of a board game, and in other instances suggests that they were redeemable for prizes. This specimen of its mysterious type projects an impressive Ruth depiction and concedes just very light evidence of past handling. Excellent to Mint-plus condition.
