Coming off back-to-back World Series championships and six Fall Classic appearances in eight years, the 1929 New York Yankees boasted nine future Hall of Famers on the team’s roster. Offered here is a signed 4 ½ x 6-inch cut that has been signed by five members of that team, including two legendary Hall of Famers. The front of this cut had Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig’s distinctive signatures, with Ruth signing “Babe” Ruth, all in bold black fountain pen. On the upper right corner of that page is handwritten “St. Petersburg 2/3-29”. The back of the page has the autographs of Bob Shawkey, Bennie Bengough and Herb Pennock (signed “Herbert Pennock”). Those signatures have also been signed in bold black fountain pen. The signed cut is in good overall condition, displaying only moderate toning due to age. The corners are rounded on one side and three holes were punched on the opposite side. This comes with a LOA from JSA (BB80300) and a LOA from PSA/DNA (E35048).
