Offered here is a 1930 New York Yankees press pass good for the Yankees doubleheader matchup with the Washington Senators on August 5th. The Senators took the first game 6-4 despite Babe Ruth’s home run, his 41st of the season and the 557th of his Hall of Fame career. The second game went the Yankees way, as starter Red Ruffing pitched a complete game and went 2-3 with a double, homer, and two RBI in the Yankees 7-1 win. Ruth tripled and drove in a run, while Benny Bengough, Tony Lazzeri, and Lyn Lary contributed the remaining RBI for New York.
