Offered in this lot is a team photograph of the 1930 Toledo Mud Hens. The 1930 Mud Hens were the champion of the AA American Association, boasting a roster chock full of Major League veterans and future stars. The Hall of Fame umpire Jocko Conlan suited up for the Mud Hens, as well as MLB vets George Mostil, Carl Mays, Bevo LeBourveau, Hugh McQuillian, and others. The Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel skippered the Mud Hens in his penultimate season with the team. This team photograph shows 13 players standing and Stengel sitting on the ground behind a championship trophy. This photograph is displayed in an 18 x 8-inch frame. The frame shows signs of aging but is still a visually appealing display piece.
