Presented here is a Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey one-sheet linen backed poster dating to the 1930’s. This poster bills an act called “The Thriller Supreme”. Text on the poster reads “The Orland-Mara Situation” and “In which Orland makes a terrific dive through space, carrying Miss Mara on his back, landing upon his chest on a chute in the arena, 80 feet below”. An image of “Orland” performing this feat, with Miss Mara clutching onto his shoulders for dear life, is printed on the front of this poster. This poster is a tremendous display piece, and it measures approximately 44 ½ x 32 inches.
