Presented here is a three-sheet linen backed poster from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, dating to the 1930’s. This magnificent display piece is captioned with “Quelques Spécimens de Notre Colassale Ménagerie”, and shows images of many of the animals in thrall to the circus. The animals pictured include alpacas, white guanacos, llamas, dwarf zebus, Bactrian and dromedary camels, yaks, white buffalo, markhors, sambar deer, a blue gnu. This poster measures approximately 40 x 82 inches, and is a tremendous display piece for any fan of the circus.
