Whether he did it or not doesn't matter.

The $5.50 grand stand ticket has been torn at the turnstile and exhibits good wear. A small piece of the corner has been torn off and the edges display some wear, but it remains a very attractive piece. The art deco design and colors are strong and bright, making this one of the most attractive tickets in World Series history. PSA/DNA have encapsulated the ticket and issued it a grade of GOOD 2. The 6" x 9 1/4" Souvenir scorecard is the Cubs version and is designed in the same stunning 1930's art deco style as the ticket. The 12 page program has portraits of both teams and the center spread features the scorecard. The original owner carefully scored the game, recording not only Ruth's famous 5th inning blast but Gehrig's solo shot which was hit right after Ruth's. The scorecard shows good use with creases and rounded corners from age but all the pages are present and bound with the original staples. The cover's spectacular color graphics are bold and bright with an approximately 1" x 1" area of paper loss in the upper left corner. The back cover sports a full page color illustration of Wrigley Field in all its glory. A great group of items from one of the greatest moments in sports history.
