As the day's reigning links phenom, Bobby Jones was among the most popular sports figures of his era. As such, his likeness was mandatory for inclusion in Goudey's ambitious 1933 showcasing of the time's most widely revered athletes. The offered Jones example – from it's production's scarcer series of "High Numbers" – displays an abundantly attractive image of Jones, with freshness evident throughout its presentation. The card's surfaces are superb, and all four corners are square and well-formed. A golf collector's trophy piece, in sharp Near Mint to Mint condition.
