Presented here is a baseball signed by numerous members of the 1933 New York Yankees. The Yanks finished second in the American League in 1933 with a record of 91-59. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig paced the offense, with each Hall of Famer hitting over 30 home runs, 100 RBI, and at least .304. The Yankees counted six Hall of Famers in their batting order, with an additional three in the pitching rotation. Babe Ruth’s signature, located on the sweet spot, is the most prominent signature on this Spalding baseball. Lou Gehrig signed this ball as well, to the left of the sweet spot. The ball shows signs of age, being a mostly brown color. However, the signatures of Ruth and Gehrig are still visible. This item comes with a LOA from JSA.
