The attractive and colorful "Sea Raiders" release features intriguing illustrations relevant to a perennially fascinating theme among 1930s card collectors: Pirates on the high seas! As many collectors know, the "Low Numbers" can be found with one of four different backs as these cards targetted audiences in the United States and our neighbors to the North. The four different backs are; Bilingual (French/English text), Boston (the most common), Montreal/Canada and Montreal/U.S.A. In total, 9 cards have been graded by PSA. The 34-card collection includes: Bilingual (2) - #'s 7 and 12; Boston (12) - #'s 1 Blackbeard (PSA GD 2), 3 (PSA VG-EX 4), 4 (2: PSA EX-MT 6, PSA EX 5), 7 (PSA VG 3), 11, 16 (2: one PSA EX 5), 18 (2: one PSA VG-EX 4), 22 (PSA VG-EX 4) and 23; Montreal/Canada (14) - #'s 2 (2: one PSA VG-EX 4), 3, 4 (2), 8, 9, 10 (2), 13, 17, 20, 21 (2); Montreal/U.S.A. (6) - #'s 5, 7, 15, 16, 17 and 23. Overall, the cards grade 9% EX to EX/MT, 49% VG to VG/EX, 42% lesser (including some trimmed).
