Offered in this lot are three tickets from Lou Gehrig home run games. The first ticket is from the Yankees 6-5 win over the St. Louis Browns at Yankee Stadium on May 6th, 1934. Gehrig hit his 302nd career homer in this game, while George Uhle earned the 200th and final win of his career in relief. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23422145). The second ticket in this lot is from the Yankees 6-3 win over Cleveland on May 10th, 1935 at League Park. Gehrig hit a solo homer in the first inning off Cleveland starter Oral Hildebrand for his second dinger of the season and the 350th of his career. Vito Tamulis pitched a complete game to earn his third win as a Yankee. This ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (25033411). The final ticket in this lot is from the Yankees 7-6 loss to the Browns at Sportsman’s Park on June 12th, 1937. Gehrig connected on his 437th homer of his career and his 10th of the 1937 campaign in the fourth inning of Browns starter Chief Hogsett. Frankie Crosetti hit two homers and knocked in four RBI for the Yankees, while Joe Vosmik and Hogsett both picked up two RBI apiece for the victorious Browns. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded a VG-EX 4 by PSA (20993718).
