One of the many likeable aspects of Babe Ruth is that he always tried to accommodate his adoring fans. One such example is this offered letter that Ruth has signed in bold blue pen. The letter, which is dated “March 6, 1934.” was from a person named “Alfred Kaiser” of Warren, RI. Kaiser mailed this 5 ¼ x 7-inche letter to Ruth that reads: “Dear Mr. Ruth, I collect the signatures of great well known people. As you are well known it would give me great pleasure if you would send me yours. Please write your name on the bottom of this letter. I am, Respectfully yours, Alfred Kaiser I thank you very much for your kindness”. Ruth obliged and penned his name in that spot and wrote “Sincerely Babe Ruth”. A great Ruth signature and acknowledgement of his generosity and this item has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (84125951) and has been graded a solid NM-MT 8.
