Offered in this lot is a wanted poster for American gangster John Dillinger. The photographs were taken in 1934 and the poster also displays Dillinger’s fingerprints. Also, pieces of his description like height, weight, build, hair color and Alias (Frank Sullivan) are also available on this document. Dillinger was wanted for robbing 24 banks and four police stations, among other criminal activities. Dillinger escaped jail twice, and was charged but never convicted for murder charge of an East Chicago Police officer. This item comes with a LOA from University Archives.
