Goose Goslin was a well-rounded hitter; Goslin’s 2,735 career hits included 500 doubles, 248 homers, and 173 triples while maintaining a .316 career batting average. The class of 1968 Hall of Famer won World Series titles in 1924 and 1935 with the Senators and Detroit Tigers. Schoolboy Rowe was a right-handed pitcher who played primarily for the Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies, who was a three-time All-Star (1935, 1936, 1947) and a member of three Tigers’ World Series teams in 1934, 1935, and 1940. Schoolboy Rowe and Mickey Cochrane signed the sweet spot of the baseball in black ink. Goose Goslin’s signature appears on the left panel next to the “Official American League Ball” stamp in black ink. The ball features elements of toning, some stains above the “Official American League Ball” stamp, and minor elements of toning throughout. The signatures are bold, and the signed baseball comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
