Presented here is a straight razor used to shave the legendary Babe Ruth during spring training of 1934. Ruth was a man who enjoyed the finer things in life, including the luxuriant services of Sulphur Springs, Florida’s finest barbers. This offered “Baby Gran” straight razor was manufactured by of Waldrep Brothers of Greenville, South Carolina. It features a yellow handle, and the razor has a small chip taken out of the middle of the blade. The razor comes in the original packaging and is accompanied by a photograph of Ruth seated in the barber’s chair. Additionally, this straight razor comes with a LOA from Lillie Bughardt, the original owner of the razor.
