Presented here are two Brooklyn Dodgers team passes from the 1934 and 1937 seasons. The 1934 Dodgers were managed by Casey Stengel, in his first managerial post, after two seasons of Max Carey’s leadership. Len Koenecke and Tony Cuccinello led the team in home runs, with 14 each, and Sam Leslie paced the team with 102 RBI and a .332 batting average. Hack Wilson, in his final season, split the year between the Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Wilson hit the final six homers of his career with the Dodgers before retiring at the end of the season. This team pass was issued to Louis O’Neill of the Long Island Daily Star. It has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (25292279).

The second pass in this lot was from the 1937 Brooklyn Dodgers season. In this campaign, the Dodgers finished with a 62-91 record under manager Burleigh Grimes. Sporting a fresh, kelly green color scheme the Dodgers were led by Heinie Manush’s 73 RBI and .333 batting average. This pass was also issued to the Long Island Daily Star, and it has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21221764).
