With the backing of General Mills, who were launching the promotion of their cereal Wheaties, a squad of American baseball amateurs were recruited to play against Japanese amateur teams. Offered here are rare pictures from that 1935 tour of Japan. This multi-page album with 180+ photos has black and white photographs documenting the various stages of the tour and feature the baseball players in uniform, formal shots, individual shots including pictures of Lou Gehrig and Jesse Owens. This album also contains photos of the 1936 American Olympic Baseball Team.
