Presented here is the 1936 yearbook from Muir Technical High School, the alma mater of Jackie Robinson. Robinson’s performance in high school foretold his athletic success, as he starred for the football, baseball, basketball, and track teams. He is pictured numerous times in this book, including the baseball team picture and an action shot from a basketball game. This yearbook, which is signed by many of Robinson’s classmates at Muir, is an incredible piece of baseball history from the genesis of Robinson’s legendary athletic career.
