Graded PR 1 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Presented is the cleanly designed "solid background" variety of this classic DiMaggio issue. The special vintage aura of Goudey cards is fully captured in this specimen, which is distinguished by facial feature registration that is nearly flawless. The illustration's gentle colors are effectively set off by uniform and mild, aesthetically pleasing toning of the cardboard. Generally faint creasing can be seen about the card's surface (although this concession is not overly disruptive to the image), and the piece's evenly distributed corner wear is not offensive in appearance. Poor condition, with a surprisingly appealing manner of presentation.
