In 1939 Jackie Robinson was a star athlete at Pasadena Junior College, playing baseball, football, basketball, and running track with his brother, the Olympian Mack Robinson. This page, removed from the 1939 Pasadena Junior College yearbook, shows Robinson kneeling with his basketball teammates. The PJC team of 1939 managed to capture the California Junior College Championship, due in no small part to the skill of Robinson. Jackie signed this page in blue pen next to his picture. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (E60877).
