Presented is a 24-card complete set of R50 Goudey "First Column Defenders" non-sports cards issued in 1940. Featuring patriotic-themed illustrations surrounded by full-bleed red borders, this production shared an era—and counter space—with other companies' competing Horrors of War and War Gum titles. Many of the cards are trimmed. Mostly VG to VG/EX (balance is lesser).
