Hall of Fame quarterback Bobby Layne was a six-time Pro-Bowl selection, a three-time First-Team All-Pro and a three-time NFL champion with the Detroit Lions. Layne played for 15 seasons with the Chicago Bears, New York Bulldogs, the Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. Layne played his high school football at Highland Park High School in the suburban Dallas town of University Park. One of Layne’s teammates at Highland Park was fellow Hall of Famer Doak Walker. This jersey displays heavy game use with small holes on both sides of the “6” on the back. The “8” on the front has a small portion on the upper right of the number missing some material. There also soil and other stains present. This jersey comes with a LOA from the family of Bobby Layne.
