Presented is a lot of eight ticket stubs from Major League Baseball games played between 1941 and 1963, in which either Joe DiMaggio or Yogi Berra hit a home run for the New York Yankees. The first ticket stub in this lot is from July 27, 1941, a New York Yankees doubleheader with the Chicago White Sox at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees took game 1, 9-5, as Yankees pitcher Red Ruffing hit the 241st home run of his career. In game 2, the White Sox won, 7-3, while Joe DiMaggio clubbed career HR #191. The second ticket stub in this lot is from June 22, 1947, when Yogi Berra hit the fifth home run of his career in a 6-5 Yankees win over the Tigers at Yankees Stadium. The third ticket stub in this lot is from a doubleheader at Yankees Stadium on July 6, 1947 with the Philadelphia Athletics. The Yankees took both games, 8-2 and 9-2. In the first game, Yogi Berra hit the seventh home run of his young career, while Joe DiMaggio hit career HR #255. The fifth ticket stub in this lot is from July 22, 1948 at Yankees Stadium, where the Yankees beat the Indians, 6-5. Joe DiMaggio slugged a grand slam home run for his 285th career homer. The sixth ticket stub in this lot is from Yankees Stadium and New York’s 9-2 win over the Washington Senators on September 2, 1950. The seventh ticket stub in this lot is from September 23, 1950, when Joe DiMaggio hit the 349th home run of his career in the New York Yankees 8-0 win over the Red Sox at Yankees Stadium. The eighth ticket stub in this lot is from the August 14, 1963 doubleheader at Fenway Park. The Boston Red Sox won both ends of the twin bill, 14-7 and 5-4 over the New York Yankees.
