Offered here is a press pass for the 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers football team. The Dodgers were a member of the NFL from 1930 to 1944 before spending a few years in the upstart All-America Football Conference. The 1941 Dodgers were coached by University of Pittsburgh legend Jock Sutherland in his second and final season with the team, playing their home games at Ebbets Field. Sutherland, the Dodgers all-time leader in coaching wins, led the team to a 7-4 record and a second-place finish in the East Division. The Hall of Famers Ace Parker and Bruiser Kinard suited up for the Dodgers in 1941, while Pug Manders led the NFL with 486 rushing yards. This pass is the only authenticated example in the PSA database. It has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (25293079).
