The 1943 St. Louis Cardinals dominated the National League to a tune of a 105-49 record, which was a comfortable 18 games ahead of the second place Cincinnati Reds. Offered is this Official National League Ford C. Frick baseball that has been signed by 22 members of the 1943 National League championship team. The ball is in excellent condition, given its age, with the stampings clear and the black ink signatures that are slightly faded, but still readable. Whitey Kurowski’s slightly faded signature is on the sweet spot of this baseball. On one of the side panels are the signatures of Debs Garms, Lou Klein (signed “Louis Frank Klein”), Hall of Famer Billy Southworth, Johnny Hopp, Mort Cooper and an unidentified player. Another panel has the signatures of Walker Cooper, Sam Narron, Harry Brecheen, Al Brazle, Ken O’Dea, Hall of Famer Stan Musial and Max Lanier. The panel with the Spalding stamp has the signatures of George Fallon and Howard Krist. This multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB11872).
