Presented is a black and white photograph Jackie Robinson’s first ever Major League home run. The first African American to play in Major League Baseball, Robinsons was signed to the Brooklyn Dodgers and played his first official game on April 15, 1947. This photograph depicts Robinson’s first home run on April 18, 1947. This original Acme photograph stands 9 x 6 ½ inches and is unframed. This photograph has several creases and some very slight tears on the edge. Nevertheless, the photograph remains fully intact and presents beautifully. This is a one of a kind picture from one of baseball’s most historic figures.
