     This 7 x 83/8 inch Type III photograph shows Jackie Robinson kneeling on the top of the Ebbets Field dugout steps shaking hands with manager Clyde Sukeforth while his teammates Howie Schultz and Ed Stevens look on. This photograph was taken on April 11th, 1947, during an exhibition game against the New York Yankees at Ebbets Field. Robinson made his debut in a Major League uniform that day, although his historic first regular season game would be four days later. This black and white photograph comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1P06926) for a Type III photograph.
