Three different complete sets are presented. These small (1-1/8" x 2-1/8") trading cards recall the days, long ago, when one could step on a dime-store scale and receive a trading card along with one's weight information. The cards comprising these sets deliver remarkably bright and detailed color illustrations on their fronts. The trio includes:
1948 British Automatic Co. "History of Transport" (24) - complete set of 24 cards, pictorially describing a great variety of conveyances, from ancient to modern;
1949 British Automatic Co. "Speed" (24) - complete set of 24 cards, showcasing fast man and machines, highlighted by card #5 Jesse Owens (PSA NM-MT 8);
1954 British Automatic Co. "Warships of the World" (24) - complete set of 24 cards, featuring fighting ships from several nations, including the U.S., U.K., France and Russia.
Overall condition is EX/MT to NM, with a few nicer and a few lesser.
